Perfect for beginners, this basic fundamentals class provides an excellent introduction to the basics. Held at the Hi-Desert Rod and Gun Club in Morongo Valley, it’s designed to ensure a comfortable learning experience.

 

The class begins with a session covering the fundamentals of shooting, firearm safety, and situational awareness. You will also learn range etiquette. Following this, you’ll spend time on the range honing your basic shooting skills.

Don’t own a firearm? No worries! We’ll provide one for you, or you’re welcome to bring your own. If you would like to use our firearms, please let us know in advance. We also provide eye and ear protection if needed.

Please arrive 15 minutes early, by 10:45 AM, to prepare for the class.

What to bring: Eye protection, ear protection (if you don't have them we can provide them for you), your firearm, water, and snacks. 

Wear comfortable clothing, but please avoid sandals, open toed shoes, tank tops, or low-cut shirts. A baseball hat is also recommended.

Fee: The non-refundable course fee is $100 if you are bringing your own firearm and ammo. $125 if you are using our firearm and ammo. $115 if we are supplying the ammo. If you are unable to attend after making your payment, please contact me, and I will apply the amount toward a future course. Additionally, there is a $20 cash range fee required for HDRGC, which is due upon arrival.
